at a bright and sunny solitude, for irish premiership action. cliftonville, 4th, vs glenavon in 8th.

the reds could go above their bitter rivals crusaders into 3rd with a win today, and are only 3 point off the leaders glentoran. the reds are the oldest club in ireland, being formed in 1880. full time from solitude and a late come back from glenavon sees them snatch an unlikely point  with the game  finishing 2 apiece.

cliftonville went into a 2 goal lead with goals on 23 and 61 mins, before a harsh sending off on 79 minutes, which appeared to sparke the  glenavon come back, with goals on 83 and 87 mins.

crowd aprox 1600, with 100 from lurgan. the reds remain in 4th, but loose ground on glentoran who won yesterday. there have now been 30 goals in glenavon's last 5 games, and the lurgan blues 54 goals  in their 13 games so far this season.
