at spen lane, home of spen victoria cc, for the jack hampshire cup final. the knock out competition for 2nd and 3rd division teams in the bradford league. where jerr lane take on east ardsley. both teams have won promotion to the 2nd division this year. lane already have the 3rd division title under their belt and the t20 group b trophy, and are thus aiming for  the treble. east ardsley secured promotion yesterday, so this promises to be a cracker. 40 overs aside. lane batting first on a cool and overcast day.

Wednesday the 17th of February, 2024.  at de campo municipal tahiche, for regional preferente de las palmos action. otherwise known as the 5th tier of spanish football, where football is regionalised. game based on lanzarote, with this being the Canary Islands, regional league. 18 team division, with the league winners playing off with other regions for promotion to step 4. cd tahiche today taking on cd brenamen. 4 euros entry. 4 45 pm kick off.  at Sandhill Lane. Sutton on Derwent, 8 miles east of York. k3 dental cup action. Woodhouse Grange vs Scarborough. this is the combined club knock out comp for teams in the ecb yorkshire premier leagues north and south respectively. home side 4 times national village cup champions. scarborough also one and of the  more successful teams at this level too. a cool and cloudy day. conditions more like mid april rather than Mid June. Yesterday's result from Sandhill Lane. and Scarborough squeak through to the next round of the viking cup by 10 runs. Batting first, they  mustered a seemingly below parr 196 for 7, off a reduced 38 overs.  Top scorers for the Seasiders were Matthew Turnbull, 56, and Clarke Dougney, 55 not out.  The latter rescuing the Seasiders to some degree, with an unbroken 8th wicket partnership of 45 at the end of the innings.
