   its chalenge rugby league cup action for me today. 

at crusaders park in the suberb of saint helens known as clockface for 4th round tie between thatto heath crusaders, in the 2nd tier  of ametur  rugby league and level 5 on the rugby league pyramid,  vs dewsbury rams, mid table championship. 

the rams disposed of west hull in the last round. 

heath are expecting a record crowd for this one and they have beeen given special dispensation from the rfl to stage this match on home turf. 

737 saw their 3rd round victory over rochdale mayfield. 

the bbc camras are in town for this one and is being screened live on the bbc website.

apologies, thatto heath are actually at the 4th level on the rugby league pyramid and they disposed of north wales crusaders in the last round. 

a crowd  of over 1000 expected today, swelled by a couple of coaches who have come across from gewsbury. 

lets hope their fans have better luck than their players who are currently stranded 2 miles from the ground as their bus have broken down just short of the stadium. 

another one has been sent for. ft and a 36 ten victory for dewsbury in the end. 

thatto heath started nervously and the rams raced into a ten nil lead within ten mins. 

but the scores were level at half time and there was a faint possibility of a cup shock on the cards. 

but 4 2nd half unanswered tries saw the championship side through. 

where  they will be joined by the top 8 in last year's superleague and will be hoping for a money spinning tie. 

congratulations to heath's 2nd team who won the barla national cup competition today with a 19 18 victory vs west hull at the south leeds stadium. 

this is the premier cup  competition  for ametur teams and the date of the final cannot be moved, hence thatto won with there 2nd team.
