an early close of play at weetwood sports ground, anda hard day's toil in the field for the tykes bowlers. the foxes, starting out today's play at 276 for 6 added 221 runs for the last 4 wickets. thanks to scriven, batsman number 7,57, and will davies, coming in number 9, with a hard hitting 85. but there was yet more pain to come for yorkshire, as gavin griffiths, 18, and bowley, nunber 11, 35, kept on going.
Record breaker Finley Bean was out for 32, but Yorks close on 64 for 1. the draw being the big favourite in this one, with the pitch a flat batsman's paradice. but time will tell.
